Christina Rosen, EdD., LPCS, LCAS, CCS, ICADC, NCC is an Associate Professor in the Human Development and Psychological Counseling Department at Appalachian State University. Her experience includes 26 years as a Licensed Clinical Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor with 20 years as a Supervisor, 10 years as a Counselor Educator and 4 years as an instructor. In North Carolina she is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, Certified Clinical Supervisor, International Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. She has been trained as a spiritual director. Her counseling specialties include clinical supervision, chemical dependency, co-dependency, dual diagnosis, integrating spirituality into counseling, and multi-cultural counseling. Her counseling modalities include prevention, individual, Employee Assistance Programs, group work, family/couple, and working with involuntary clients. Her presentations, publications, and research interests include supervision, ethics in supervision, the supervisor and supervisee's relationship, and counselor training, dual diagnosis, relapse prevention, substance use issues and diagnosis, marriage, family and couples, as well a LGBTQI.
